WHAT TO CATCH............

maimai

MAHI MAHI

Swift and acrobatic, once hooked these guys will leap out of the water in an amazing show of speed and striking colours.  Their sides are golden with iridescent greens and blues, and their belly is white and yellow.

wahoo

WAHOO

Some say the fastest fish in the ocean and definitely an exciting fish to catch.  Wahoo hang out around the FAD's and along the drop off and with it's high quality white flesh is a prized game fish.

 yellowfintuna

YELLOW FIN TUNA

Yellow Fin Tuna always puts up a great fight for the angler and it is quite normal to have multiple hook ups .  They are generally caught all year round.

blue-marlin

BLUE MARLIN

Known for putting up a tremendous fight when hooked, these rare marine monsters are the holy grail for sport fishers.  They are among the fastest fish in the ocean, and use their spears to slash through dense schools, returning to eat their stunned and wounded victims.

black-marlin

BLACK MARLIN

Black marlin are more solidly built with a relatively short bill and a lower, rounded dorsal fin.  Rarer than Blue, but great to catch.

sailfish

SAILFISH

When hooked, they will fight vigorously, leaping and diving repeatedly, and sometimes taking hours to land.  They get their name from their spectacular dorsal fin that stretches nearly the length of their body and is much higher than their bodies are thick.
